I’m Lee Barnes, CEO of Barwood Transportation and
I want to tell you about our Driven for Excellence, Sharing the Vision
Reorganization Plan.
After much consideration, Barwood has applied to the
courts to reorganize its business. We are proposing to switch to a
co-op style of taxi ownership, similar to the system that San
Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles and other cities use. We feel this
is a better business model, because it will allow drivers the
opportunity to own part of the business.
You will not see any change in the way we serve you;
it is business as usual. You can continue to call Barwood for a taxi,
and you can continue to order a taxi on-line at www.barwoodtaxi.com.
